Analyzing the Factors for Implementing Make-to-Order Manufacturing System

Make-to-order (MTO) is becoming vital for meeting ever-changing customer requirements. Growing demand customized items has been linked to a rise in the proportion of MTO businesses. Many sectors and product categories have implemented concept achieved competitive edge sustainable manufacturing. However, case automobile sector, little work carried out, both research practice. In this study, our objective identify prioritize critical success factors (CSF) which can affect implementation make-to-order rank different strategies implement manufacturing systems passenger cars. This paper proposes an integrated approach where Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) used prioritizing Technique Order Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) ranking implementation. The study shows that customer-centric strategy would be best solution sector.
